Evaluation Question 2 - How does your media product represent particular social groups?

This is Alice (bottom picture), this is the main character in our film opening. We have also chosen the main girl out of The Lovely Bones, Suzie Salmon (top picture). The Lovely Bones is where we got the inspriation from to the character of Alice following the genre of this film (Thriller/Fantasy). Both characters have similar characteristics as they resemble that 'young and innocent' vibe/look about them. Our film opening is mainly targetting young teenagers, most likely to grab a females attention however males are also targetted. Both of these films are set in the older days, with out film being in the 50's and 60's (hence the black and white effect) and The Lovely Bones being set in the 70's, giving it more of a modern look compared to our. Both characters of Alice and Suzie are also of similar age making them play the typical young, innocent girl look. We have used a young age like The Lovely Bones as it represents the thriller a bit better as it's more creepy to see that such tragic things could happen at such a young age, an age you dont expect.
